Do you want a role where technology, security, and community development meet? Bjuv municipality is now looking for an engaged and technically skilled specialist/investigator who wants to take a key role in the work with the municipality's IT deliveries, information security, information management, and digital development.

You will have a central role in creating a safe, modern, and sustainable digital society – for both employees and residents.

You will be placed in the Security Department and work closely with the municipality's security manager, as well as with our lawyer who is also responsible for GDPR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is broad but clearly divided into three main areas:

IT technology and supplier coordination
Information security and regulatory compliance
Digitalization and business development

You will also lead and coordinate the municipality's work to meet the requirements according to the NIS2 directive and contribute to the municipality's certification work, especially towards ISO 27001.

The position is located in the Security Department within the Administration of the Municipal Executive Board.

Areas of Responsibility

IT Technology and Supplier Coordination

Be the municipality's technical contact person towards our external IT supplier EttIT.
Ensure that IT deliveries meet the municipality's requirements for security, availability, and quality.
Follow up on incident management, changes, and operational issues.
Provide technical support for IT-related procurements and projects.

Information Security and NIS2 Compliance

Project manage the municipality's adaptation to the NIS2 directive.
Lead risk and vulnerability analyses, continuity planning, and training efforts.
Design and revise governing documents, policies, and procedures for information security.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, NIS2, and the Security Protection Act.
Create a cybersecurity culture by promoting awareness and educating on information management and security.

Digitalization and Business Development

Contribute to the municipality's digitalization strategy with a focus on security and sustainability.
Support development work for more efficient support processes and digital services.
Strategically coordinate overarching issues and manage statistical data.
Prepare decision-making materials for the municipal executive board, municipal council, and municipal assembly.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

Relevant higher education in IT, information security, information management, or equivalent.
Documented technical competence in IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and security solutions.
Experience in project management and working with external IT suppliers.
Experience in information management, information security, and regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of public law, GDPR, and NIS2.
Good analytical skills and experience in investigating information flows and risks.

Meritorious:

Experience from the public sector.
Familiarity with ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or equivalent frameworks.
Experience in change management and coordinating roles.
